Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and implement OutSystems applications according to specifications. 
• Collaborate with analysts, designers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions. 
• Maintain and update existing applications to meet changing business needs. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and practices within the team. 

Technical Skills:

• OutSystems Platform: Strong knowledge of the OutSystems platform, including Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Service Center. 
• Application Development: Experience in building and maintaining web and mobile applications in OutSystems. Ability to follow best practices for scalable and maintainable code. 
• Databases: Good understanding of database design and development, experience with SQL, and ability to design efficient database schemas within OutSystems. 
• Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizing user interfaces in OutSystems applications. 
• Integration: Experience in integrating external systems and services via REST and SOAP APIs within OutSystems. 
• Performance Tuning: Familiarity with performance monitoring and tuning techniques within the OutSystems platform. 

Knowledge and Experience

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. 
• Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams. 
• Documentation: Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation for developed functionalities. 
• Teamwork: Good collaboration and communication skills, ability to work effectively within a team of developers and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Learning Ability: Continuous willingness and capability to learn new technologies, methodologies, and best practices. 

Attributes and Qualities

Certifications and Education: 

OutSystems Associate Web Developer: This or a higher certification is desirable. 

Relevant Education: A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often required, but not always necessary depending on experience and skills. 

Experience Level: 2-4 years in OutSystems development

Personal Traits: 

Creative and innovative in solving technical problems. 

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. 

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and user experience. 

Languages Skills

Fluent in both Dutch and English. Any other language will be considered an advantage (French/ German).

This role is based in the Netherlands and requires an existing residence and work permit.
