Job Information:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior OutSystems Developer to lead the design and development of robust solutions on the OutSystems platform. This role involves advanced development activities, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications that meet our clients' needs.
This role is based in the Netherlands and requires an existing residence and work permit.
Application Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement high-quality applications using the OutSystems platform. Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and meet business requirements.
Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers. Provide guidance and support in best practices, code reviews, and advanced problem-solving.
Project Management: Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion. Work with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance through effective database schema design and efficient coding. Ensure applications perform well under various load conditions.
Integration: Develop APIs and integrate with external systems and databases, ensuring smooth and secure data flow between applications and services.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the QA team to define testing strategies. Ensure that all development tasks meet quality criteria through testing, including functional, performance, and security tests.
Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest developments in OutSystems and related technologies. Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and end products.
Required Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in OutSystems development, including significant experience in leading development projects.
Technical Skills:
Expert knowledge of the OutSystems platform.
Strong background in web and mobile application development.
Proficient in SQL and database design.
Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills, capable of managing stakeholders and mentoring developers.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Fluent in both Dutch and English. Any other language will be considered an advantage (French/ German).
