We are seeking a visionary Collibra Lead to join our newly established Group Data & Analytics Office. 


In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the Collibra platform, driving its adoption and integration into the organization’s data governance and quality frameworks. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable workflows and solutions, ensuring interoperability with other enterprise systems while fostering a culture of accountability and data stewardship. By enabling seamless governance processes, actionable insights, and high-quality data, you will empower our business to achieve operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic innovation. Key Accountabilities

 

Collibra Platform Ownership

 

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the Collibra platform to meet the organization’s evolving needs. 
  • Build and maintain governance workflows, metadata pipelines, and data cataloging processes to enhance data accessibility and quality. 
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Collibra, ensuring the platform is deployed with industry best practices and provides maximum business value

 

Data Governance & Quality

 

  • Lead initiatives to enhance data quality by setting up and enforcing rules, thresholds, and workflows for monitoring and improving data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. 
  • Ensure that Collibra is central to maintaining data governance, regulatory compliance (e.g. BCBS 239, CSRD, GDPR), and data quality standards across the organization.

 

Interoperability and Integration

 

  • Oversee the integration of Collibra with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability through Collibra APIs and custom solutions

 

Dashboard Creation and Reporting

 

  • Design and maintain dashboards to monitor data governance, quality, security, privacy, and the evolution of the Data Marketplace. 
  • Provide visibility into the effectiveness of the Collibra platform and its impact on the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Create actionable reports and visualizations for senior leadership, focusing on performance metrics such as data quality, platform adoption, compliance, and security.

 

Security and Privacy

 

  • Work closely with data security and privacy teams to ensure that data assets in Collibra are securely governed and comply with privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA. 
  • Lead the design and implementation of privacy workflows in Collibra, enabling the organization to track and manage personal data in alignment with privacy laws and policies.

 

Data Marketplace Enablement

 

  • Drive the development and management of a Data Marketplace within Collibra, empowering business users to easily discover and access governed, high-quality data assets for data-driven decision-making.

 

Enablement and Collaboration 

 

  • Lead training and onboarding for business users, data stewards, and IT teams on Collibra capabilities, workflows, and data security/privacy tools to advance governance, quality, and data privacy objectives.

Knowledge and Experience

 

 

  • Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Engineering, IT, Computer Sciences, Statistics 
  • Extensive experience in implementing and managing Collibra in large-scale organizations. 
  • Leadership experience in driving governance and data quality initiatives with cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Financial Services: Experience in financial services would be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Quality, including configuring and managing data quality rules, thresholds, and reporting.

Technical Skills

 

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python to customize workflows, data quality checks, and enable automation. 
  • Proven ability to create dashboards and actionable reports using Collibra or related BI tools to monitor governance, data quality, security, privacy, and the Data Marketplace. 

Languages Skills

 

  • English fluent
  • French, German, Dutch (an advantage)
