To work with the Client Data Servicing team to ensure accurate completion of tasks involving static data in our core banking platform. Work can include the management and update of client static data, onboarding of new clients or new portfolios for existing clients, administration of the My Brown Shipley online service and general administration tasks as required across the team.

As part of this role, it will be necessary to provide support to the team manager by providing oversight of work queues and allocating and checking work for others on the team. It will also be necessary to liaise with Front Office teams to ensure all data is received and is accurate and to provide front office teams with the new client account details. To work all processes within set service levels and to maintain MI for reporting purposes. The role will involve working on different databases and using different portals to obtain information.

 

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure work on the team is completed accurately within service levels.
• Undertake checking of work, training and support of less experienced staff within team. 
• To be responsible for the recording and monitoring of work to ensure accurate MI can be produced   
• Ensure that all reasonable requests received from internal clients are carried out in a complete, accurate and timely manner and that internal clients are kept informed of work progress and status where necessary.
• Keep up to date with legislative, regulatory and Inland Revenue practices (where applicable) affecting the Onboarding and Client Static data procedures including the acceptance of new clients.
• Develop own professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and, where appropriate, professional qualifications.
• Assist management in maintaining and developing internal procedures, checklists and guidance notes

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience of working in a static data function in a Private Banking environment.  
• Good understand of different account structures, i.e. Individuals, Trusts, Corporates, Corporate Pensions, SIPP’s and Offshore Bonds. 
• Experience of managing work queues and coordinating the work of others, including training and checking work
• Experience of implementing processes and enhancements
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FATCA, CRS and MIFID is desirable
