In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, digital teams, and IT to implement data-driven solutions that improve performance and operational efficiency. You will ensure business teams have access to reliable, high-quality data and insights, enabling them to make informed decisions while promoting a data-driven culture. Additionally, you will support training initiatives on data products and help share best practices across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

 

Data Strategy

  • Contribute to the development of a data & Analytics strategy that aligns with business goals, emphasizing the creation of value through data-driven insights. 

 

Business Understanding & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, its processes, and its data needs to ensure analytics solutions align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate their requirements into actionable insights, balancing BAU demands with strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations in a clear and actionable manner, bridging the gap between technical teams and business users

 

Data-Driven Solutions

  • Collaborate with business units to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Implement analytics solutions to improve business performance and operational efficiency.

 

Data Quality and Accessibility

  • Ensure business teams have access to accurate, high-quality data for decision-making
  • Monitor and improve data integrity across systems and processes.

 

Architecture Implementation & Optimization

  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to develop scalable, secure, and interoperable data platforms and pipelines, while implementing best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and integration to ensure consistency and usability across structured, unstructured, and real-time data sources.
  • Collaborate on cloud-native solutions, leveraging platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku, or Microsoft Fabric to ensure future-ready data capabilities.
  • Contribute to Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and governance across the bank.


Innovation & Emerging Technologies

  • Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating emerging developments in data, AI, and machine learning, and exploring their relevance to the banking sector and Spearhead innovation initiatives, such as real-time analytics, AI-driven insights, and predictive data modeling.

                            

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Statistics
  • 5-7 years of experience in data management, business analytics, or a related role, with exposure to financial services or regulated environments.
  • Proven track record of supporting data-driven transformations in complex environments
  • Experience integrating analytics tools into business workflows and supporting AI/ML initiatives.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset balanced with the ability to work independently+
     

Technical Skills

 

  • Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, or Dataiku.
  • Strong knowledge of with data technologies like SQL, ETL tools, Apache Spark, and modern API frameworks. 
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data integration.

Languages Skills

 

  • English
  • French, German, Dutch (an advantage)
